Luc Besson

Luc Besson is a highly acclaimed and renowned French director, producer, and writer. He was born and raised in Paris and has greatly impacted the world film industry. He is regarded as one of the best directors of all time by most acclaimed critics. He began his career working in Parasian films at a very early age (after an accident). Luc went to Hollywood at 19 to learn and discover American film. L’Avant Dernier, Besson’s first short film, was made when he was 20. Later, in 1983, he made a full-feature film based on the same concept. The film won the Grand Prix of the jury and the Prix de la Critique, establishing Luc as a filmmaker.
